            Bug ID: 129018
Summary: Count number of cells failing validation
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.5.0.0.alpha0+ Master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: libreoffice at nisz.hu

Description:
A user asked whether Calc has a feature that makes it possible to count the
number of cells in a range that fail cell validation, i. e. they would be
circled with the Tools – Detective – Mark Invalid Data command.
While red circles are useful, a cell with a function or a small window
indicating the exact number would give more peace of mind, especially with
large spreadsheets.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open attached file. It contains some characters and numbers in column A
with validation set for whole numbers > 0.
2. Choose Tools – Detective – Mark Invalid Data
3. A lot of cells are circled in column A.

Actual Results:
User can not give an exact count of how many cells are circled.

Expected Results:
Any convenient way to tell the exact count of cells failing validation.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
