I tried to reproduce the problem on a different PC that has the same LO version
and W10 patches.  I copied over one of the same spreadsheets that appeared to
crash, opened it, and then killed soffice (using taskkill /F), leaving a lock
file.

I then opened the sheet again, but the name of the file was clearly displayed
in the box saying "Due to an error LO crashed. The next time...".  The file
duly opened successfully. So I have failed to replicate the crash where no such
file name is provided to recover from.

The PC on which the problem kept recurring yesterday has now decided to pretend
nothing happened.

I will however, if it's OK, leave this report open for a while in case the
problem comes back.
