When I press <Cmd>-P the Print Preview comes up with Pages From 1 to 1
selected. The tick-box for "Print selection only" is blank - see screenshot:

If I choose "Pages All" it makes no difference to the preview, and if I switch
back to "From 1 to 1" there is no change.

If I select "Print Selection only" the preview is completely blanked, and the
"Print Selection only" tick-box remains blank.

I realise now that I should deselect the cut-and-paste selection before trying
to print, but the print preview doesn't indicate that the print will be
"selection only", and the subsequent behaviour of that tick-box is unexpected,
to say the least!
