            Bug ID: 138299
Summary: FILEOPEN Using Compiz when opening a file with LO,
randomly the screen remains transparent and does not
                    display the file
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.0.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: luca.dgh at gmail.com

Description:
I have to report the problem described in summary line, with every version of
LO I installed from 6.1 to 7, on every version of Ubuntu from 18.04 up to
20.10. Using Compiz, LO randomly doesn't show the file that it's opening (Calc,
Draw and Writer). It is quite a problem, the only workaround is to open the
file from the main LO window.
In the LO forum I found another with the same problem
https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/246935/when-opening-a-file-the-screen-remains-transparent-and-does-not-display-the-file/#277348

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install and setup Compiz as window compositor
2.try to open different CALC, WRITER or DRAW files
3.Randomly they will not be showed in the window, its very hard to understand
why one works and the other no, but for example every CSV file will produce the
error.

Actual Results:
Sometimes the window remain transparent, you can see the frame but not the file
you are opening.

Expected Results:
I expect to see the file I opened inside the window.

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
I'm sure that the problem resides in Compiz because if I switch off Compiz the
file that was not opening can be opened fine.

If needed I offer myself as tester, please let me know how I can provide you
more technical info or debug data.
