Bug ID: 136418
Summary: PDF: Labels display borders when arrow connector
present
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.0.0.3 release
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: mangoduck at protonmail.com
Description:
When I export to PDF a drawing with a label control that has seemingly any
background color other than default and any connector that ends in an arrow,
the label will have a border the same color of the connector even though the
label has "without frame" selected as its border. Any connector without an
arrow does not do this. Deleting the connector removes the border from the
label when exported to PDF. All labels (with backgrounds) in the same document
exhibit this behavior.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open a new document in LibreOffice Draw
2) Insert a Label Form Control
3) Right click on the label, and then click on "Control Properties..."
4) Scroll down and select any background color other than "Default"
5) Ensure the Border is set to "Without frame"
6) Insert a "Connector Ends with Arrow"
7) Export to PDF
Actual Results:
Open the PDF to find that the drawing is the same as seen in LibreOffice Draw,
except there is a border around the label.
Expected Results:
The label in the PDF should show no border.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
I checked every connector, and a few background colors. As mentioned, only the
connectors with arrows caused this problem. Every background color I checked
had the same result.
I opened the PDFs on Mac with Preview, PDF Professional, and Firefox. I opened
the PDFs with SumatraPDF, and Firefox on Windows. PDFs created on either
machine showed the same problem when opened with any of the PDF readers.
I did not try resetting my UserProfile, but the installation on Windows is
completely fresh, downloaded only to test this error on another machine, and
with no options changed.
