Overloading the toolbar with unfamiliar tweaks might not solve the confusion
fromn the beginning. It would be helpful for you (and I have to admit it's a
tempting idea for me too) but Benjamin has no idea why the bold button becomes
"stylish".
But let's do a step more: How about a special deck that gives feedback why bold
is set. Maybe with a tree to illustrate the hierarchical relation...
