            Bug ID: 139705
Summary: Set Page Variable/Show Page Variable is Broken
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.0.0.1 rc
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: david.burleigh at saphar.net

Description:
I use "Set Page Variable" in the header of the first page of each chapter in my
books, and "Show Page Variable" in the headers of subsequent pages, in order to
display the page number within the chapter. Each "chapter" is an .odt file
imported into a .odm master document. (The absolute page number within the book
is displayed in the footer.) This has worked fine in all versions before
version 7.x, but it does not work in 7.x -- "Show Page Variable" shows nothing.

Steps to Reproduce:
See description and attached example.

Actual Results:
Header shows: "1-" on all pages of chapter.

Expected Results:
Header should show: "1-1" on first page of chapter, and "1-2" on second page,
etc.

Reproducible: Always
