The issue is inconsistent, which would explain why it was not reproduced in
Comment 7.

In a recent master build, I opened the document after installing the font, and
reproduced the issue, as see in this screenshot.

However, after zooming in or out, or resizing the window, the font displayed
properly. (screenshot in next comment)
You even might get a very quick glimpse of the characters properly displayed
when opening the document in the first place.

Maybe a hint at what the issue is: if you select the line of text, you'll see
that the part that is not painted is whatever is outside the selection
rectangle.

So is the issue related to how LO paints the viewport, somehow?
