--- Comment #1 from R. Green <greenandpleasant2000-support at yahoo.co.uk> ---
Version: 7.1.3.2 (x86) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 47f78053abe362b9384784d31a6e56f8511eb1c1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

As I suspected. In Windows 10, The Find & Replace "Replace" shortcut (R) works
MANY times faster (factor of 10 perhaps) than its equivalent in the Linux Mint
DE. As does the "Find next" shortcut and so on.

There is clearly something wrong with the shortcut repeat function on Linux
Mint (and other Linux distros?). Very inconvenient when working with long docs.
