            Bug ID: 142957
Summary: Animated GIFS slow down Impress
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: rickpress at live.com

Description:
Using multiple animated gifs slow down impress. Some gifs are fine but once you
have around 4 - say one on each slide - it slows down big time and the mouse
hangs.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an impress presentation
2. Create 4 or 5 slides
3. Upload a different animated gif to each. Eventually one will cause the
system to hang / be very slow.

Actual Results:
As above.

Expected Results:
There should be no slowdown.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Had this problem on work pc as well as home pc.

Tried playing with SKIA and graphics and rendering settings makes no difference
at all on whatever setting is used. This bug has been around for a long time
and hope it can be fixed.
