Bug ID: 141404
Summary: EDIT: Inserting formated string and undoing insertion
leaves format in the position
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.4.7.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: christianw_lehmann at arcor.de
Description:
I copy from somewhere a string provided with some character format like
italics. I paste it at some position. I press CTRL-z. The string disappears,
the format remains. It does not even disappear by pressing CTRL-z once more.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Apply a character format to a string.
2. Copy the string.
3. Paste it in some context lacking that character format.
4. Press CTRL-z.
5. The string disappears.
Actual Results:
Its character style remains in place.
Expected Results:
The style should disappear, too.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
This is one of the ways how a file gets cluttered up with useless codes.
