            Bug ID: 142056
Summary: EDITING of existing cell content via input line is no
                    longer possible
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.1.1.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: lifeline at frsh.de

Description:
This bug report relates to Calc. It is no longer possible to change the cell
content displayed in the input line above the table, as newly entered content
is always appended to the existing content. The complete editing of cell
contents is only possible by double-clicking on the cell itself. That seems
very impractical to me and should regain the previous function. I also wonder
what is the point of the upper input field at the moment.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a cell with existing content.
2. Place the mouse cursor in the input line at the point that is to be changed.
3. Enter the new content.
4. Push Enter.

Actual Results:
The new input ist appended at the end of the existing content.

Expected Results:
The new input should be inserted at the place, the cursor was put. Possibly
marked content should be overwritten.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
The new input should be inserted at the place, the cursor was put.
Any content that has been marked should be overwritten.
