            Bug ID: 142563
Summary: Writer AutoRecovery of some files only or auto-select
                    all
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.4.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: Nick_Levinson at yahoo.com

Description:
After a crash and restart of LO when several files are available to be
recovered, we can't be selective about recovery and can't shift-select
everything.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start LibreOffice Writer.

2. Tools menu > Options > Load/Save > General > Save > Save AutoRecovery
Information Every . . . Minutes has to be on and set for an interval suitable
for this purpose.

3. File > New > Text Document and create some content.

4. Repeat step 2. When I discovered this problem, I had made 4 docs.

5. Wait past the interval set for AutoRecovery in STR 2. I don't think LO
signals you that the interval has passed, so just don't do the next step too
soon.

6. Power off without saving, quitting, logging off, restarting, or shutting
down. In my case, I hadn't paid attention to the battery running down.

7. Power up (I plugged into AC power and pressed the power button). Do the
normal start process.

8. Start LibreOffice. It will present you with an option to try to recover all
the pre-crash files you made (Untitled 1, Untitled 2, etc.).

9. Notice that in the list of files only the first one is selected. Try to
shift-select all of them. You can’t, so click the Start button. Don't click the
Discard button.

Actual Results:
All will be recovered (and thus you can click the Finish button). By
implication, therefore, you could not have opted to recover only some files and
discarded others.

Expected Results:
Ability to select which files to recover or, if that's not feasible, the
auto-selecting of all of the files in the list.

Selecting with discarding of anything not selected would conflict with users'
expectations if they've recovered multiple files in the past without
shift-selecting, and we wouldn't know which users those are. Therefore, unless
all files were selected, ask the user to confirm the discarding of unselected
files.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I haven't tested other modules (Calc, Base, etc.), but I imagine they're
similar.

Platform: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, kept evergreen.

LO:
Version: 6.4.7.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.7-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 5.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

The UserProfile should be irrelevant.

I don't think I have OpenGL.
