Hi Astron,

First - thanks for the great feedback.

Sounds good to me - hopefully there is -some- discoverable way to
forcibly re-size those though. I suspect this "keep ratio" option is
reasonably hard to find.

Interesting, setting "Keep Ratio" on an object in the options page has
no effect at all on user sizing it (it seems) ;-) I can still stretch it
as much as I like once outside that dialog - although the setting is
persisted.

How about; if "keep ratio" is set - we make the image corner scale with
that ratio by default, but still allow the side handles to re-size it ?

AFAICS his work was run into the ground by over-much feedback, not all
of it positive :-) [ and now he is working on sexy UI things in GNOME
Shell / Zeitgeist AFAICS ].

Anyhow - just to split the mails up so we can reach a clear conclusion
quicker. I love your idea to re-use "keep ratio" (it is worth checking
if this is serialized in the file format for objects too I guess, or if
this is some UI artifact).

	Thanks,

		Michael.
