[Libreoffice-ux-advise] Can we have an FC for pages per Sheet?

Hey,
during the reporting for this bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57922
I did some testing of the field command "Pages" (##) in Calc...

And I found out that there is some inconsistency:
- when printing inside a sheet, "Pages" refer to the number of pages
inside the sheet - no matter how much you print of them.
- when printing across sheets, "Pages" refer to the number of pages of
the actual print.

In the first case "Pages" is higher or even to the number of actual
printed pages, whereas in the second case "Pages" is always equal to the
number of printed pages.

So I was wondering, if - despite fixing this inconsistency - it would
make sense to add two additional field commands:
- # page sheet: page-counter in current sheet
- ## sheet pages: total number of pages in the current sheet.
- these both fc's would be totally independent of the actual number of
pages printed.

Then, when printing across several sheets (and using the new fc). One
could easily keep track not only about the overall pages, but also about
the pages/count per sheet.

IMHO this would be really useful and would be an additional benefit of
LO Calc.

What do you think?

Richard
(hoping that this is the right place)
