It's quite hard to find a non-ASCII character that is easy accessibly from any
keyboard layout. To get Ctrl+Backslash you have to press Strg+AltGr+ß on a
German keyboard, for example. That's why application wide shortcuts (ctr+key)
use only chars from A..Z. See as well bug #90546.
