As a consequence, all CS would have to be specified in percent. Many users are
used to font size in points, like 12pt and 10pt, and need a calculator to get
the correct value.
And ultimately I believe it will not solve your problem. But why don't you
create an extension, maybe per direct formatting?

Or C++, and implement this feature in LibreOffice :-)
