I think the change should be done automatically triggered by the OS/DE (dark
mode is missing on Windows bug 118320 and macOS bug 118017 and there is the
META ticket bug 143344 for issues on Linux). If you pick the special pink theme
(todo at bug 125823 and in particular bug 125217) it should remain.

Assuming all this is implemented and an infinite number of themes can be added
via extension the easy toggle wont be usable anymore.
