Should be noted that LibreOffice responds to cursor settings of the os/DE.

On Windows, its a11y 'Ease of Access' Text cursor settings allow setting
thickness of the text cursor in increasing values 1-20.  That width change is
rendered to LO canvas and UI elements.  

The other Windows a11y construct 'Text Cursor indicator' is not.  

But the simple cursor width is sufficient accomodation.
