It's not a rare use case, stumble over it myself from time to time. Guess there
is a duplicate...

If the clipboard content contains tabs it should go into the next column (what
happens when it's not selected, eg. "1 /t 2 /t 3" but only 'A' or 'A and B' is
selected?; what happens when the table has less columns?) and line feed
continues at the next row (what if those cells are not selected, eg. 1 \n 2 \n
3 \n 4 and only 1 and 2 are selected?; what happens when the table has less
rows?).

Please check MSO what happen in these cases.
