Showing a lock if the option proportionally is checked would be another visual
feedback for the setting. 

And while it surely wont hurt the use case why we need to introduce the
feedback, is not clearly described. Actually I would enhance the request to
something like "I want to adjust the size of col A and B and have the remaining
space not as white space after the table but evenly distributed on col C and D.
For example A & B = 2cm and C & D = page width - 4cm." 

This means the locks can be opened individually.

LBNL, this "accolade" lock would be much more easy to add once we list the
columns vertically.
