To amend Stuart's comment: all the information is relevant in Writer. If your
style name would be "Foo" and the document is smaller all might fit on the
screen. Respectively, changing Calc's page style to some ridiculous long name
also breaks access to the zoom slider. Unlikely but possible.

In other words: whatever we do at some point the status bar is not large enough
to show all information. Bug 113828 could be a solution for small screens (or
actually smaller application windows when showing two side-by-side). Making
this one a duplicate to keep track of your use cases.
