Sounds to me like some effort for not much benefit. The column width seems to
be defined by the word "Standard" (as column type); longer options such as
"Date (DMY)" is cut off. And if we modify the preview it should rather size the
columns automatically depending on the context with a maximum as today.

By the way, the Data Provider has more capabilities although it doesn't resize
the columns as well. Use Tools > Customize to add this function to menu or
toolbar.
