There is no way to rename the content (it's taken from the file name) nor the
items are reasonably named (and translation is missing, see bug 90864). The
Gallery content is not located in the user space and cannot be modified
therefore, see bug 131529. 

Before we ponder over a (desirable) search function we have to rework the
foundation.
