I made the use case wider with the idea to either send an individual message to
anyone with one by one email or kind of use LibreOffice as email editor and
send one message to everyone. Ultimately it would be a combined Merge Mail and
Send as Email function.

Very valid questions. To support open source I'd be happy if the function was
limited to Thunderbird for now.
