I still struggle with the advantage of the sidebar over space in the document.
You need to read the text anyway.

The requirements are basically
* add, edit, delete comments
* show threads
* filter by time and author
* mark as resolved
* temporarily hide?

* protect to edit, delete, (add) -> probably not at the review pane

Anything missing?
