You can modify the UI per document; quite flexible but tedious and not really
what you want.

Rather than blocking features (doubt we can do it properly) I'd warn or just
inform about direct formatting. The idea was to have a style highlighter, for
just DF see bug 106556.

Would you agree to make your ticket a duplicate, Vito?
