Hello, libreoffice-ux-advise list!<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>I have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with LibreOffice 3.5.7.2 and Gentoo 13 with LibreOffice 4.0.0.3.</div><div><br>I was going to sketch a simple web-form, which contain some Labels, Text boxes, Checkboxes etc.</div>
<div><br>I created ODT and ODG documents, opened "Form Controls" Toolbar, and found needed form elements here.</div><div>But I get an unexpected behavior on printing of my results.</div><div><br></div><div>For ODT (LO Writer) I discovered the following (see <a href="https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61742">https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61742</a> and <a href="https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61736">https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61736</a>): </div>
if I open if I open 'Page preview' up and down arrows in 'List Box' and 'Combo Box' are on place. But if I print the document with any printer (cups-pdf of physical printer) arrows do not exist. If I export a PDF via 'File-Export as PDF' (mark "Create PDF Form" is unchecked) I do not see arrows too.<br>
<br>For ODG (Draw) I discovered the same behavior (see <a href="https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61746">https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61746</a>) - there are arrows on screen, but there are no arrows on print and PDF export.<br>
<br><div>I expect that output PDF (or sheet of paper) will look like screen version of document (otherwise WYSIWYG conception is broken and I will get unexpected result).</div><div><br></div><div>So I think that all form elements must look on paper or PDF (no matter how it is got - with Export as PDF or virtual PDF printer) exactly as on screen.</div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>With best regards,</div><div>Norbert.</div>
