You can turn that off
on a 'diff' view, click on 'preferences'
then check 'manual review' and save
that will prevent diff to be automatically marked as 'reviewed' as you
look at them

use '?' to get the list of keyboard shortcuts... here 'm' is the
shortcut to manually toggle the reviewed flag.
