For this list you don't have to be subscribed to post.

Not exactly. There's some grey-listing mechanism that, depending on
headers and content, can hold back messages or let them pass or weed
them out completely.

Now and then a spam message gets through. That's normal. Be glad you
don't see the other hundreds per day.
