It was started at the same time the Freedesktop naming spec was being developed (as used by Tango and others).</div><div>The Wiki represents the current plan, but I want to transfer across the good stuff from my original document as a starting point.</div><div><br></div><div>I think different icon sizes should not exist within the same zip archive for a theme to avoid overheads/ faster load time.
