It seems you may have weird result only if you bypass the process by copying an unlocalized file in it. 2) I understand you'd like to edit unlocalized file and I didn't try to implement it. Being able to edit it would mean indeed mean there could be unlocalized files in user/autocorrect (without manually copying).
