[Libva] Howto use VAAPI with FFMPEG

Hello,

i want use libva for decoding h.264 video with hardware acceleration. I
did fist tests with mplayer and everythink seems to work correctly on my
system (NVIDIA ION platform).

What i want to do now is to use FFMPEG/libav for decoding h.264video in
my own project. I already used libav for h.264 video decoding with the
softcodec.

Is there anywhere a little example or a howto  how libav is used
together with libva? There seems to be (many?) differences about the
usage from libav if hardware acceleration is required.
