Speaking of greeters, elementary has a custom one too. They've implemented <a href="http://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1348152493.png">http://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1348152493.png</a> using the WebKit greeter, but had to drop it all because the userpics available to the greeter are way too tiny for this design.
