I always wanted to see such a table for mesa, and following your
suggestion I'll get on it

My plan it to prepare a wiki table - but if will be up to the different
teams to create specific sections - depending on the hardware's  
capabilities
eg. nouveau - nv30, nv40, nv50 ...

I'll be able to fill in most of the details for nouveau and software  
renderer

Show does x.org/MesaStatus sound like a possible location?

Any suggestions, objections, comments
