I considered that also, but IA44, AI44... are the names defined by
fourcc.org, and everybody seems to use that one (at least when it's
related to video decoding).

So we have to chose between confusing everybody common with 3D naming
conventions why the "I" doesn't stand for intensity, or mostly everybody
else why we don't use the fourcc names.

I chosen the first one, because it would we uncommon for a 3D dev to
search for something not in any of the major specs and I think using we
already have enough different names for the same thing floating around.
