Ah!  This is the first time I've seen those patches...sorry.  It looks 
like those bugs were just assigned to Ian, and being the default 
bug-assignee, he gets a -lot- of bugzilla mail.  Easy to lose things in 
there.

It would be great if you could send them to the list for review.  It's 
harder to lose patches in there, and a lot more people will see them. 
Hopefully we can get them committed this week.

This one looks sensible to me.  You can add a:
