Didn't for me but my xine may be borked :-(

But then YUY2 with mplayer is also failing -

vl/vl_video_buffer.c:451:vl_video_buffer_create_ex: Assertion 
`tmpl->chroma_format == PIPE_VIDEO_CHROMA_FORMAT_444' failed.

Same stream works with xv and mplayer output looks the same, so I don't 
think it's an mplayer thing.
