Yep. I don't oppose moving it elsewhere (e.g, src/gallium/tools/) if its presence in src/gallium/auxiliary/gallivm is confusing.

:) No prob.  There's a lot of traffic in Mesa nowadays, I easily miss stuff that I'm not explicitly CC'ed.

I've went through the file and it's history.It seems that it was dormant
for ~2years thus my question. I take that despite that it's still a good
idea to keep around if/when one needs it.
