<br></div><div>To clarify the statement about glxgears: of cource it doesn't use glTexSubImage2D() itself, I was running it with <a href="https://github.com/kroki/glxoffload">https://github.com/kroki/glxoffload</a> which renders each frame on a different GPU and then uploads the result to i965.<br>
