        <pre>The proposed extension looks like the right approach to me.

Regarding issue #1, I weakly prefer that it be illegal to specify
EGL_TRANSPARENT_ALPHA for non-window surfaces. I like to emit errors when the
user asks for the impossible.

Errors I found in the draft:
  - It should be a EGL display extension, not an EGL client extension.
  - The new symbols must be suffixed with MESA.</pre>
