3G/4G USB dongle with support for allowed modes switching

I'm looking for a USB modem, that can be switched to 2G mode in order
to check device's power supply limits:

mmcli -m 0 --set-allowed-modes=2G

So far I could perform this test on a devices with mPCIe slot and
Huawei MU609 modem, but now external modem is required.
