Hi,

I have a Huawei E160E USB modem that works with
ModemManager-0.6.2.0 and NetworkManager-0.9.8.2
but does not work with ModemManager-1.0.0 and
NetworkManager-0.9.8.8. The
modem appears to be initialised but disconnects when a connection
to my ISP is
attempted.
There is also a confirmatory report of this issue here.
I note that when this device works, a ppp0 interface is created,
but when the
device does not work, a wwan0 interface is created.
