It appears that there are some bits left from the blob
(/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so), and the xorg.conf is not setup
correctly (you should use, nouveau, rather than nv/vesa).

Have you gone through the TroubleShooting [1], namely sections 3 and 8
