<pre>I can confirm the patch works (and unlike how I switched the calls myself
probably cleans up after itself correctly :-)).
Dave Airlie: Isn't modules.conf obsolete?
Also, it's still kernel loading the driver, it's not like X calling modprobe,
isn't it? And if there is race, dealing with it by hoping that there will be
few seconds between the modprobe and starting X just by chance isn't exactly
correct either.</pre>
