In <a class="bz_bug_link bz_status_RESOLVED bz_closed" title="RESOLVED FIXED - Black screen after resume from s2ram" href="show_bug.cgi?id=59057">bug 59057</a> the screen was completely blank after resume. In this bug the screen is first restored but everything is frozen except for the mouse pointer.
