<pre>Unfortunately I no longer have the TV that triggered this problem so I can't
really run any tests. I suspect it was either something to do with the 1280x720
resolution of that TV or something strange in its EDID, because the new
Panasonic 1080p TV no longer seems to cause such problems.</pre>
