to see if this fixed my DisplayPort issue.
I rebuilt a new kernel based upon origin/linux-4.1 and tested the behaviour
both with and without the patch applied.
Sadly the patch didn't work for me, but I have updated dmesg logs which I will
add to this bug report shortly.</pre>
