We have a draft here for v1:

Also, we have been planning OCS v2 for a while. Please follow the list
for details in the near future about that.

I hope I can mentor Felix [1] under the GSoC project [2] for getting a
reference implementation in Qt at least for the client side [3]. It
would be nice if someone could work a similar gnome, gtk, glib and so
forth based reference implementation. We are all for helping with
this. :-)
