OK, I cannot really know which compiler Ubuntu uses and what are the<BR>>
internal messes. So, there is a nice option in ooo-build that allows
one<BR>> to build his own compiler and his own binutils to have a bit
more<BR>> controled environment: --without-system-gcc.<BR>><BR>>
After one reconfigures with this option, one has to run ./download
again<BR>> to get the binutils and gcc tarballs.<BR>><BR>>
